    Things happen for a reason I am told. So when my father decided that my family should spend the day at Lake Sammamish raise up events happened that I will remember for the rest of my life. The second close memorable event that happened that day was I almost drowned.  I was 14 years old and love the hot summertime days; I was always outside from the time I woke up until my mommy called me in after dark. Baseball was a passion of mine and I had had a long 4 day tournament that week. When my father told my family we would be difference to Lake Sammamish that pass excitement filled our home.
